Jayson Tatum suggested to the NBA world that whenever the player got a fresh trim, he was easily one of the best players in the league purely because of the confidence the trim gave him.

Tatum said referring to the video, “When I get a haircut, I’m top 5. And it could be top 5 anything. Top 5 in basketball players. Top 5 in looks. Top 5 most stylist. It’s just the confidence that you have when you get a haircut.”

“When I get a cut, I’m Top 5,” Tatum emphasized.

Having rituals is not something new in the NBA. Rather, it is quite a common occurrence with multiple players having their own unique rituals.

One of the most iconic basketball rituals is LeBron James’ pre-game chalk toss. In this tradition, the King walks over to the announcer’s table and pours out white chalk powder on the table. Then he scoops it up in his arms and throws it high into the sky with his outstretched arms, creating above him a majestic and heavenly white cloud as fans watch in awe.

In his time in the league, Jayson Tatum has led the Celtics to four conference finals, all of which the Celtics were unable to win.
