Not only that, but some prominent figures on the grid have praised Charles Leclerc and applauded his racing this season. It was a shocking confession by the team principals and hence, it solidifies the trust Ferrari has in their ace.
Horner and Wolff are positive about Leclerc’s future with Ferrari
Leclerc’s contract extension rumors have attracted attention from other team principals and they have given their verdict about Charles Leclerc. It should be noted that the opinions are from Toto Wolff and Christian Horner, who are known to be extremely supportive of their drivers.
Horner and Toto were interviewed by Sky Sports about Charles’s future with Ferrari and in a surprising turn of events, both of them supported Charles Leclerc with their answers. Christian Horner called out his driving skills and urged Ferrari to stay with Charles, “He is a great driver, I’m sure they wanna keep hold of him and they’d be crazy if they didn’t.” Meanwhile, Toto Wolff backed up Charles Leclerc with his statement, “He’s a great guy and why wouldn’t Ferrari sign him?”
Both Horner and Wolff look convinced about Charles’s contract with Ferrari and it justifies the recent rumors that he may stat in the team till 2029. Charles’s Leclerc himself has called Ferrari his family putting forth an emotional connection to the Maranello team.

It’s not only Max Verstappen who has secured a pay raise but, Charles has been making moves with the Scarlet team too. His current contract of $23 million with Ferrari may be upgraded to the level of Lewis Hamilton’s huge salary.
There are multiple reports revolving around Leclerc and Ferrari, that state he will get $50 million if he stays with Ferrari up to 2029. It is evident that Charles’s is Ferrari’s preferred driver because of the fame and success he has brought to the team, ever since 2019.
Charles’s performance in recent years is by no means a measure of his incredible talent and many fans believe that Leclerc may get an opportunity to fight for championship if Ferrari fixes their erroneous ways.
