In the lead-up to their thrilling matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles, the team’s starter informed the supporters that they were not yet prepared to cede the limelight to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.
Mahomes dismisses distraction talk
The Chiefs vs. Eagles play is already in the hype for being the first official meetup of the Kelce and Swift family in the stadium. Perhaps all the cameras will be focusing more on the Kelce and Swift family meetup over the game itself. Many fans also speculate whether the players on the field can hold their excitement and focus on play.
During a recent interview with ESPN’s Jeff Darlington, Patrick Mahomes started the discussion of his pal’s ongoing dating rumors with the pop star, claiming Swift was a generous person.
“I’m lucky enough to meet Taylor and see how good of a person she is,” he said per Outkick.
Swift’s romance with Travis Kelce could not divert them from their plans to extend their winning streak, the 28-year-old said shortly after, dispelling the rumors.
“ I think you understand why it’s not become a distraction or anything like that because everybody cares about being the best they can be every day.”
For Chiefs fans, the game will undoubtedly be magical because Kelce appears to have already emerged victorious, luring Mr. Swift from the Eagles into the Chiefs realm.
Patrick Mahomes’ daughter Sterling embraces new role
Since taking over the starter role from Alex Smith, Mahomes has been in the driver seat to lead the Chiefs offense on the field. Off the field, the Chiefs’ two-time MVP has a sweet family, including his wife Brittany Mahomes, and their children Sterling Skye and Patrick Lavon III aka Bronze.
In running behind the team’s success, Pat has little time to take on the responsibilities of his children, leaving them under the guidance of Brittany. But now that Sterling has revealed herself as a kind sister to look after his younger brother, the footballer can rest easy about his wife’s responsibilities.
In a string of Instagram pictures that Brittany shared on Sunday, Sterling is shown lovingly petting her brother in the manner of an older sister. As his father is away from home, Pat’s little daughter is serving as a helping hand for his mother.
