CM Punk footage from 2007, exposing Vince McMahon over “unprotected sex” goes viral amid sex trafficking scandal

Vince McMahon, the executive chairman of WWE Group, has played a significant role in the company’s success. His controversial decisions, which have had both positive and negative impacts on WWE, have recently come under scrutiny.

McMahon, not long ago, was linked to a sex trafficking scandal within his company. A circulating internet clip from 2007 features CM Punk taunting Vince McMahon about “unprotected sex” and the potential for legal consequences. This scandal has left the WWE universe astonished, leading to a lawsuit.

Footage of CM Punk calling out Vince McMahon for “unprotected sex” re-emerges

Vince McMahon, the founder of WWE, is currently in the news due to a lawsuit from a former employee of WWE, who sued Mr.McMahon, alleging he abused and sexually exploited that said employee when he was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company. The allegations claim that he forced Janel Grant to have s*x with other men while trying to recruit wrestlers for the company.

The recent allegation has caused a 2007 clip to go viral, where ‘Best in the World’ CM Punk exposed McMahon for engaging in ‘unprotected sex’ and predicted a potential lawsuit in the future. The similarities between the footage and Vince’s current situation have left fans surprised as Punk’s prediction appears to be gradually turning into a reality.

This not the first time that Vince was alleged of such a crime. Back in 2022, it was reported that the founder of World Wrestling Entertainment had multiple female wrestlers exploited for pleasure and later gave them millions of dollars as hush money.

After Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut on Thursday, naming him and his company WWE, violating the Trafficking Victims Prevention Act, which caused her a lot of emotional distress over the years. Although representatives from McMahon’s side are denying the claim, there is still a lot to unveil in the matter.

TKO issues statement over Vince McMahon’s situation

TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of both WWE and UFC, recently gave their statement over the sex trafficking scandal Vince McMahon and the company. The statement said, “Mr. McMahon does not control TKO nor does he oversee the day-to-day operations of WWE. While this matter predates our TKO executive team’s tenure at the company, we take Ms. Grant’s horrific allegations very seriously and are addressing this matter internally.”

TKO’s statement showed the fans how serious they were over the allegations and how much importance they were placing on investigating the matter. Although TKO was launched in September 2023 as the overseer of everything in both WWE and UFC, it is their responsibility to find the authenticity of the claim.
