Cody Rhodes fulfills bizarre fan request with Rhea Ripley’s chewed gum

Cody Rhodes is known for his kind gestures to fans occasionally and he has even helped a lot of fans with small requests to call for unexpected things. One of his latest stunts includes agreeing to a fan’s request to be his best man at his wedding at a WWE live event.

A short while back, during the latest edition of SmackDown, Rhea Ripley spat her gum out and it landed on the ringside. A fan bizarrely asked ‘The American Nightmare’ for the Mami’s chewed gum, and to the surprise of everyone, Cody agreed to the request.

Cody Rhodes fulfills unexpected fan wish

Cody Rhodes is scheduled to face off against the Bloodline, mainly Roman Reigns and The Rock, at the ‘Show of Shows’ WrestleMania 40 in April. In a recent segment of the blue brand, Dwayne Johnson degraded Cody and his family by singing a song about how disgraceful he is to his father Dusty Rhodes’ legacy.

During the Memphis, Tennessee, live event, Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley appeared for their matches separately. One fan asked the 38-year-old star to retrieve a piece of gum that the master of ‘Riptide’ spat on the ringside. Cody, being the nice person he is, did what the fan asked, which was later posted on Twitter by the same fan describing his experience.

The fan posted on Twitter, “I’m gonna be judged hard for this but oh well. Last night @RheaRipley_WWE spat her gum out & it landed in the ring. Then later on @CodyRhodes was making his way around ringside for pics/autographs. I asked him if I could have Rhea’s gum & yep…(No I did not chew it)”.

The master of ‘Cody Cutter’ Cody Rhodes has been in the news multiple times for making kind giveaways to his fans. One of the most memorable moments was when he gave away a table to a military veteran sitting ringside. During the November 25 SmackDown Live event, Cody and Seth Rollins were scheduled to fight against The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh, which they won with flying colors. After the match, Rhodes surprised the fans when he took a table and signed it to giveaway to a fan.

Cody’s other acts of kindness include organizing the tickets for a club of young wrestling fans to attend WrestleMania 40 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The children from a middle school in Brooklyn, New York, were seen in a video where they expressed their desire to attend the ‘Show of Immortals’ in April, Rhodes instantly responded to the clip and took full responsibility for making the wish come true for the young fans.

WrestleMania 40 is just around the corner and Cody will attend both night’s events. In the first event on April 6, he will fight a tag team match alongside Seth Rollins against ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. The second night’s event will be to ‘Finish his story’ against the ‘Head of the Table’ and become the new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
