Cody Rhodes helps fulfill young fan’s father’s promise at WWE Live event

Cody Rhodes and his interaction with fans has remained constant over the years. From partaking in gender reveal to attending a fan’s wedding, the American Nightmare has fulfilled the dreams of many. He added another to his long list of granting wishes during the WWE Live event in Belfast.

In a video shared by WWE, Cody Rhodes is seen greeting a pair of young fans backstage during the event. One of the two kids meeting the WWE champion was 5-year-old Oliver Beverland. According to BelfastLive, Beverland was born with malrotation in his bowel and had a prolonged battle with the severe health condition.

His father promised him that one day Ollie would meet Cody Rhodes and that came to fruition at the SSE Arena on Saturday.

After finding out the fan’s story on social media, Cody tweeted that someone from WWE UK would reach out to him and that was definitely the case. Rhodes surprised the family of four and shared a few heartfelt moments with them. Since WWE Clash At The Castle will be happening in Scotland in June this year, Cody assured the family that they would be there as he is taking it up on himself to give them free tickets for the PLE.

That was not the only fan interaction Cody Rhodes had on the UK Tour though, as he tried his best to make up for a fan’s miserable experience at the WWE Belfast Live event.

Cody Rhodes apologizes to fan for awful live event experience

Through a social media post shared on Saturday, a female fan’s awful experience at the London event came to the surface. The woman in question was allegedly racially abused by a drunk woman and thrown out of the building, raising questions on the O2 Arena security team.

Cody Rhodes replied to the post on X (formerly known as Twitter) and apologized for the experience. He also asked the fan to give him an email address so that his team could send some goods to the victim.

With WWE’s UK tour coming to an end with the Belfast show, Cody Rhodes will now turn his attention to his title challenger, AJ Styles, who will be achieving a phenomenal feat at WWE Backlash in France next month. Cody Rhodes will be featured on WWE SmackDown moving forward and is expected to come face-to-face with the number one contender next Friday.
