Fans shower Cody Rhodes with love following heartwarming gesture at Raw

Cody Rhodes has consistently maintained a strong connection with the fans since his WWE debut in 2007. Known for his charisma and talent, he has always shown respect for his fans and the WWE audience. Since his return to WWE in 2022, he has been accepted by all WWE fans as a worthy main event star, solidifying his status as the promotion’s top babyface.

On today’s RAW episode, Rhodes battled Grayson Waller after their heated segment in the WWE Elimination Chamber last Saturday. After the match, Rhodes addressed WWE fans, expressing gratitude for their continuous support. During his promo, Rhodes randomly noticed a fan holding a poster asking, “Cody, are we having a boy or a girl?” and requesting him to reveal the gender of their baby. Rhodes didn’t hesitate and went into the crowd, asking the couple to give him an envelope with the answer.

With drumroll music playing, he opened the envelope and announced that the couple was indeed having a boy, offering his congratulations. This video was posted on WWE’s official Twitter account and quickly went viral. Many fans praised Cody for his generosity and warmth, wishing the couple all the best.

Fans commented, “He’s the best” and “This is why he should be champion,” claiming that this gesture from Rhodes prove that he has to be the Champion and deserve to win the main event than Reigns, who rarely make his presence.

Cody Rhodes once did gender reveal segment in AEW

After his return to WWE, Cody Rhodes has become one of the fan favorite superstars in WWE. Rhodes has been headlining frequently for his gestures towards the WWE fans in the arena. On today’s RAW episode, he has once again proved that he is a beloved baby face as he helped a couple with their gender reveal in front of the live audience.

However, this is the not the first time The American Nightmare has been involved in such segments. During his days with AEW, Cody and his wife, Brandi Rhodes revealed the gender of thier baby in front of the AEW fans. On February 17, 2021, in a special segment on AEW Dynamite, both decided to share their joy with the AEW fans by revealing the gender of their child. As pink pyro was fired, “It’s a girl!” appeared on the video wall. 

Cody and Brandi have been very open about their pregnancy journey since they announced it in December 2020. However their gender reveal was more significant, as it was part of the AEW Dynamite show and reached a larger audience.
