Recent comments made by The Rock on RAW 1 highlighted their long-established plot via the Bloodline narrative, suggesting that he is prepared to battle Roman Reigns. While promoting his position on the TKO board of directors, Dwyane Johnson said in an ESPN interview that he would still want to confront Reigns at WrestleMania.
Regardless of the ideal matchup, fans can’t decide who should depose Reigns from the ring: Cody Rhodes or The Rock. The long-awaited Rock vs. Reigns fight is reportedly still in the planning stages, with no official date yet announced by Dave Meltzer. Following his victory in the 2024 Royal Rumble, The American Nightmare is planning to face Roman Reigns, whose live reaction to Cody’s triumph was recorded. The video, which WWE posted on Instagram, shows Reigns seems to be getting worried as if he had seen a ghost until he suddenly starts grinning. The tension was already high as a fan yelled out, “It’s over!” and Reigns seemed irritated that Cody had another championship opportunity.
Even though Roman Reigns is a famous wrestler, his historic title streak can come to an end if Cody Rhodes wins the upcoming WrestleMania. Cody wanted a rematch after losing to Reigns at WrestleMania 39, but Brock Lesnar attacked him instead. Now Cody’s journey is coming to an end with another opportunity to compete in WrestleMania’s main event.
