“Cooked his a**”: Fans ecstatic after John Cena claims Solo Sikoa got the job in WWE because of Roman Reigns during brutal Smackdown promo

John Cena is one of the most phenomenal wrestlers to ever exist in WWE. He is a 16-time WWE champion and he is regarded as the greatest of all time in WWE by many fans.

Once upon a time, his promos were considered the highlight of WWE shows, but that magic has been missing in this run since he returned at the Money in the Bank event. However, the superstar has proven to fans that he still possesses that fiery mic skills by delivering a scathing promo against Solo Sikoa in a recent segment.

John Cena slams Solo Sikoa on Smackdown

On last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Paul Heyman delivered a promo in which he warned John Cena about the consequences of facing The Bloodline member Solo Sikoa. Responding to Heyman’s statement, Sikoa claimed that Cena would be unable to use his voice after their fight at WWE Crown Jewel 2023. However, the leader of Cenation remained unfazed by Solo Sikoa’s remarks and used his greatest weapon, his voice, to deliver a scathing 90-second promo.

In the latest episode of SmackDown, Sikoa made his way to the ring with Heyman by his side. Once they entered the ring, Sikoa shared the instructions he had received from his Tribal Chief. He addressed John Cena and expressed his frustration since he would have to wait until the next day to face him.

The order given by Roman Reigns was to hand over the microphone to Cena so that he could say goodbye to the audience before it was too late. Getting furious over that statement, John Cena delivered a cutting promo where he confidently claimed that he could still defeat Solo Sikoa in just 90 seconds and also accused Sikoa of only getting his job because of his famous cousin.

The greatest wrestler of WWE also mocked Sikoa for his self-proclaimed status as a tough enforcer, likening him to “a cheap imitation of wrestler Taz”. After that, Cena ended the segment by saying, “So do me a favor, Solo. Tape your thumb up extra tight, because it’s only getting stuck up your ass tomorrow. Yeah, that was about 90 seconds,” and then left the ring. Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman were left stunned by such a heated promo.

Many fans felt excited after witnessing such an energetic promo from Cena after so many months, and they were also delighted by the fact that he taught Sikoa a lesson. On Twitter, one fan’s tweet gained significant attention when they wrote, “Cena cooked his ass with a bad throat lmao.” The fan’s tweet is provided below:

John Cena vs Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel

John Cena and Solo Sikoa have been in a rivalry ever since Sikoa and Jimmy Uso attacked AJ Styles before the contract signing of WWE Fastlane 2023. However, Cena was able to get a new partner before Fastlane and it was LA Knight. Later in the Fastlane Premium Live Event Cena and Kniight were successful in defeating Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso.

Two weeks ago, during an episode of Friday Night SmackDown, the leader of the Cenation, John Cena, delivered a promo where he shared a tragic record of not winning in any singles match for 2002 consecutive days. Although Cena was saddened by this, his fans boosted his confidence, urging him to repeat the history of his prime days. He threw an open challenge to anyone who would fight him. Surprisingly, Solo Sikoa appeared, and they had a heated confrontation.

After last week’s episode of SmackDown, their match for WWE Crown Jewel 2024 was officially announced. Now, John Cena and The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa will settle their scores inside the ring tonight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
