Cowboys’ Micah Parsons responds strongly to 49ers star’s provocative message

After starting the season with a whopping 40-0 win against the New York Giants, the Dallas Cowboys witnessed their first blow in week 3 going down to the Arizona Cardinals. The mighty team geared up themselves in the next match to secure a 35-point victory over the New England Patriots.

However, they once again faced a blow in week 5 after digesting their second loss of the season. Besides a large point loss to the San Francisco 49ers, the Cowboys also had to digest a pregame embarrassment from the 49ers tight end George Kittle, and now Dallas linebacker Micah Parsons has delivered a strong take in response to his rival’s jab.

Cowboys star fires back at George Kittle

During the Sunday Night Football broadcast, George Kittle stirred up a new controversy by lifting up his jersey while he was having a warm-up session prior to the game. Lifting the jersey wasn’t a subject of controversy but his grey undershirt that displayed the words, “F**** Dallas” was big enough to put him in negative limelight.

The veteran even shared the image of flaunting the NSFW shirt on his Instagram handle with videos of his 3-touchdown performance with the caption, “3 piece chicken trendy for turning 30! SNF always a blast! Who lost to me in rock paper scissors again?”

Micah is renowned for wearing his heart at his sleeves, and hence, on his podcast, “The Edge,” on Monday, he didn’t mince words while taking digs at the 49ers star saying the TE stretched the matter too much. He also issued a warning saying Dallas will remember the action and are waiting for the next meeting to blow them up.

“I just feel like he’s making it more personal than it has to be. Imma say this right now, laugh now, cry later. We got something for that. Just trust, if we see them again just trust. And we are going to put it just like that, I’m not going to say too much, but if we are going to make it personal we can make it personal, that’s cool.”

The Cowboys star recorded three catches on four targets for 67 yards along with three touchdowns in their loss to San Francisco. Meanwhile, Kittle played a crucial role in the 49ers’ victory by catching three touchdown passes after failing to reach the end zone during his first four games.

Cowboys suffer worst defeat of the season

The Cowboys’ 32 points defeat on Sunday Night Football was their worst loss this season and also worst against San Francisco. The Dallas defense allowed 42 passing touchdowns to the 49ers and four to their signal-caller Brock Purdy. Their offense amassed only 197 yards while not having a first down until the fifth drive.

This 42-10 defeat marks the largest defeat Dallas suffered with quarterback Dak Prescott, and the QB1 finished with 14-of-24 passing for 153 yards along with a poor 51.6 rating. This is also the second-worst of head coach Mike McCarthy’s NFL coaching career, with the first one being in the 2006 season when he had to digest a 35-0 loss to the New England Patriots in his first year leading the Green Bay Packers.

The Cowboys will be on the road to play their next game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football.
