Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is dissatisfied with his team’s Week 14 win over the Eagles

The Dallas Cowboys had a difficult preseason, but once the regular season started, they were able to turn things around thanks to their potent offense under the direction of Dak Prescott. In his pursuit to join the ranks of coveted quarterbacks like Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre, Prescott led his team to a resounding victory against the formidable Philadelphia Eagles in Week 14 with his remarkable passing performance.

While in the eyes of Denzel Washington, Dak is “a man of God,” the sound Week 14 victory shed light on the Cowboys’ starter in his run of MVP this season.  Nevertheless, in spite of these dreamy situations, the legendary quarterback could not let his heart find solace and satisfaction.

Dak Prescott is dissatisfied with Week 14 win vs Eagles

The Cowboys earned a dominant 33-13 win against the Philadelphia Eagles, tying them with their divisional rivals at the top of the playoff standings. The win marked the Cowboys’ 15th straight home victory, solidifying their position at the forefront of the NFC East.

Despite the victory, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott expressed some frustration in his post-game remarks, acknowledging that it was not his “finest performance.” Prescott, who posted impressive numbers with a 99.4 passer rating, believed that the Cowboys could have achieved an even higher scoring mark if he had played at his peak.

“If I play my best game, we were putting a 50 up there,” Prescott remarked.

Prescott’s performance included completing 24-of-39 passes for 271 yards and two touchdowns, guiding the Cowboys to their fifth successive win, according to AP News. The balanced passing attack saw five Cowboys players amass over 35 receiving yards, showcasing the offensive prowess that has fueled their recent success.

On the flip side, the Eagles suffered consecutive defeats for the first time in over two years, surrendering their pride and the divisional standings to the Cowboys. With the victory, Dallas moved to 10-3, claiming the top spot in the NFC East due to a superior divisional record.

NFL fans want Dak Prescott to win the 2023–24 NFL MVP

With the win, not only has Dak Prescott’s team established itself as a legitimate Super Bowl contender, but Prescott has also established himself as the top contender for MVP.

Though after Rodgers’ claim on Prescott’s play, many fans blasted the New York Jets’ starter, after the Week 14 game, the fans themselves fell in love with Prescott’s athleticism and did not shy away from claiming him as the MVP front-runner.

Prescott’s Week 14 game marked his sixth game of the season, throwing multiple touchdown passes with zero interceptions. Hence, fans were impressed with his accurate showing, calling for him to win MVP with more than any other quarterback on the board. 

Undeniably, Prescott’s MVP-caliber performance played a crucial role as the Cowboys triumphed over two winning teams in consecutive weeks that the fans could not help but accept.
