Al-Nassr couldn’t be more proud of their move for the five-time Ballon d’Or as he’s become a goal machine for the Saudi outfit.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr career got off to a slow start, but the captain of the Portugal national team has since taken his game to a new level in the Saudi Pro League. Despite only joining Al-Nassr in January, Ronaldo finished last season as one of the league’s highest-scoring players, although he couldn’t inspire his club to win the title. Ronaldo’s second season in the Gulf state has been more than impressive.
He led his team to the Arab Champions Cup earlier this month, scoring six goals in the competition, including a brace in the final against Al-Hilal, earning him the top scorer award in the process. The former Real Madrid forward netted a brace against Al-Shabab in the club’s fourth game of the new Saudi Pro League season, putting him at the top of the goal scorer’s chart with five goals in two games.
Ronaldo could have had a hat trick but gave away a penalty to teammate Abdulrahman Ghareeb, who lost the spot-kick. Ronaldo didn’t do his usual “sui” celebration; instead, he celebrated similarly to how Gareth Bale celebrated his goals when they were teammates. The five-time Ballon d’Or held up his hands to form the shape of love, leaving everyone to believe he’d found a new celebration for himself.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been in impressive form this season, scoring five goals and providing three assists in three games for Al-Nassr in the new Saudi Pro League season. The Portuguese forward tops the goal scorer list with five goals, with his teammate Sadio Mane in second place with four goals.
Ronaldo also scored six goals in the club’s Arab Champions Cup campaign earlier this season, helping Al-Nassr win the trophy with his brace in the final against Neymar’s new club Al-Hilal.
