What Cristiano Ronaldo is doing at 38 is quite remarkable. The former Real Madrid forward has ditched European football since last year after Manchester United terminated his contract. Since signing with Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, Cristiano appears to be progressively having a great time despite starting slow.
Ronaldo has since lifted a trophy at his new club, with the Portuguese forward leading his team to the Arab Club Champions Cup title after beating Ruben Neves’ Al-Hilal in the extra-time of the game.
Ronaldo’s revealed ‘mantra’ for AFC Champions League qualification
Cristiano Ronaldo is famous for his hard work and dedication to soccer. The Real Madrid legend is one of the most prolific goalscorers in the history of the sport, and his work ethic has kept him playing at the highest level of Saudi Arabian football at the age of 38.
At 37, the Portuguese forward played for Manchester United and also appeared for his country at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, although he would be benched for the final games by manager Fernando Santos.
Ronaldo’s obsession with goals is not new to many soccer fans all across the globe. The Portuguese striker has scored 844 career goals, the most of any footballer in competitive matches and tournaments.
He continues to break records in the Saudi Pro League, helping his team to the Arab Club Champions Cup title and AFC Champions League qualification, with Al-Nassr beating Al-Shabab 4-2 to secure a berth in the group stage.

Marco Van Basten claims he’s better than Ronaldo
Marco Van Basten was one of the best footballers of his generation, with the Dutchman winning the coveted Ballon d’Or award on three occasions and scoring over 350 career goals. The former AC Milan forward is famous for his infamous final goal to win the EURO for the Netherlands against the Soviet Union.
The three-time Ballon d’Or winner has now claimed he could have had a more successful career than Cristiano Ronaldo if injuries had not forced him to retire at 28. “Cristiano Ronaldo is physically stronger than me, although I would have liked to see if I got to play until I was 38. I think I would have been even better,” he said.
