Daniel Ricciardo is arguably the most famous Australian when it comes to Formula 1. When it comes to his racing or his daily antics, there has never been a boring moment with Daniel in the picture. The Honey Badger has met a lot of famous personalities worldwide but nothing can justify the feeling of meeting a compatriot during any event or race.
Daniel Ricciardo has been away for quite some time owing to an injury to his right arm. He is taking his time to return to racing with ample rest. Daniel was recently attending his best friend Josh Allen’s game, where he had the opportunity to meet a fellow Australian, making an instant connection.
Ricciardo meets Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou at Bills game
Daniel Ricciardo was attending a Buffalo Bills game where he had come to support his good friend Josh Allen. In a surprising turn of events, however, Daniel was face-to-face with Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou.
At the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it was a stroke of luck for Honey Badger, who, in his typical fashion, was extremely cheerful and went to take a selfie during the game. Daniel was later filmed and posted as a special guest by Decyfr Sport on their Twitter and the official Instagram account of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Ricciardo potentially to return at US GP
Daniel Ricciardo has taken a long break from F1 ever since he crashed out at the Austrian GP and Liam Lawson was the one fulfilling the void left by the Aussie in their team. In a recent test, however, Daniel was to undertake a simulator session, which would decide his fate for the Qatar GP. While Liam was the one who ultimately got the green signal for the race (by the Honey Badger himself on a video call), it has been rumored that Daniel will finally make another appearance in Austin.
Red Bull boss Christian Horner had emphasized the fact that Daniel needed maximum recovery and was not at all willing to risk another injury following a contract extension with AlphaTauri confirming Daniel’s seat in the 2024 season. He had already hinted that Liam Lawson would be given a last chance in the Qatar GP before Daniel finally made an appearance at the Circuit of the Americas.
As the information points out and according to the statements released by Red Bull and Daniel Ricciardo himself, we can only think of a potential return at the US GP where Daniel would want to maximize on performance following a long time away from his car.
Do you think Daniel will be able to provide a stunning result for AlphaTauri this season with only 5 races remaining on the calendar.
