For decades, WWE has been a big name in the sports industry. The promotion is wholly based on Pro Wrestling and has been doing a great job in running the ring business. Even though there are several other competitors in the pro wrestling industry still WWE will be the best one according to fans as the promotion has a huge impact around the globe and has a very well-fledged roster.
However, there are several times that this big promotion has promoted their sport in many other franchises but it is very rare to see them partner. But a recent report confirmed that WWE and NFL these two companies have got into a licensed partnership.
WWE, NFL set to announce partnership
WWE has officially gotten into a contracted partnership with the National Football League famously known as NFL for a full set of custom “NFL Legacy Title Belts.” Now all 32 NFL teams have officially licensed WWE championship belts on sale at WWE Shop, NFLShop.com, and Fanatics.com. The merchandise costs $549.99 and will be shipped no later than Monday, October 2, 2023.

This is a multi-year partnership, according to a WWE press release sent to SEScoops. This marks the first-ever official agreement between WWE and the NFL. Adam Schefter has also confirmed it in a recent tweet. WWE previously partnered with MLB back in August 2021 and recently it is known that WWE will most probably collaborate with UFC in the upcoming years.
WWE stars promoted WrestleMania 40 at NFL venues
Several WWE superstars, including a current champion, appeared at an NFL preseason game last week to promote the upcoming WrestleMania 40. A few weeks ago at an NFL preseason game in Philadelphia, the Eagles were taking on the Cleveland Browns, and three familiar faces popped up on the screen. Being interviewed at the game in support of the upcoming WrestleMania 40 event in Philadelphia this April, an interesting trio of WWE stars were featured in a segment.
Current NXT star Trick Williams, SmackDown star Grayson Waller, and Intercontinental Champion Gunther all appeared to hype up WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia which will be held next year.

However, this week, the NFL also had the presence of many WWE superstars who went to NFL venues to promote their promotion’s biggest event of the year. The list of superstars who went to the NFL starts with Grayson Waller, Lucha Legend Rey Mysterio, and Sheamus. The Celtic Warrior even visited the Detroit Lions training camp ahead of Summerslam. While Grayson and Rey went to watch a match a few days ago.

In a recent tweet, Shaemus announced that he was again going to visit the camp to see the Detroit boys. Shaemus wrote on Twitter: “Another NFL/CWW collab… tomorrow I show up at a Detroit Lions training camp to see how Big Dan Campbell & the boys workout.”
As per his promise, Shaemus visited the training camp of the Detriot Lions and uploaded a blog to his YouTube channel. According to some reports, it is rumored that a big collaboration is going to happen between the NFL and WWE.
