Days before chasing 9th consecutive victory, Max Verstappen’s fast drive in Aston Martin raises concerns of legal action

Recently, two-time world champion Max Verstappen was spotted driving an Aston Martin Valkyrie, a car designed by Red Bull Chief Technical Officer, Adrian Newey. However, sources claimed he was zooming through the streets of Monaco well above the speed limit.

It is thus that there is speculation going around the F1 social media community that he is liable to prosecution on the ground of “endangering the lives of other.”

Max Verstappen is unarguably one of the fastest drivers on track in Formula 1. However, his addiction to speed has recently reportedly poured out of the legal confines of Formula 1, as a video of him breaking the speed limit has surfaced on social media.

Recently, the Dutchman was seen driving his hypercar, an Aston Martin Valkyrie. The car, designed by Adrian Newey, is part of the now discontinued project between Aston Martin and Newey.

It was reported by witnesses that the reigning world champion was driving around 120 km/h, 30 km/h over the 90 km/h speed limit imposed at Monaco. Considering that the Dutchman has more on his mind in terms of equaling the all-time record for most consecutive wins this upcoming weekend, potential legal action is the last thing he needs!

So far this season, Red Bull has been untouchable at the top, winning every race this season. Impressive as this is, most of the credit is owed to Max Verstappen, who has bagged 10 out of 12 race wins this weekend. 8 of these have been back-to-back!

Currently, the record for most consecutive race wins is held by former F1 driver and 4-time world champion Sebastian Vettel at 9 race wins. If Max wins this weekend, he not only equals the record but gets to do it in front of his home crowd!

To commemorate this, the Dutchman is donning a special helmet for the Dutch GP this weekend. On this, Max said, “The Dutch flag is of course related to the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. I will be using a special helmet design there, that as you can see, is pretty Dutch. Surpriseā€¦”

Continuing, he said “I thought to go more with the red-white-blue flag this time. On the top of the helmet, we have the full flag with the lion logo on it. Then one side is blue and the other side is red. That comes together at the back of the helmet. I think itā€™s a great-looking result and hope it will look good on track as well. I hope you will like it as well!ā€
