Deion Sanders raises crucial query over Colorado players’ commitment after shocking collapse against Stanford: “are they in love with this game”

The Colorado Buffaloes team was on the verge of losing their legacy in college football before this season. Dramatically, their coach Deion Sanders came and changed the wheel of the team’s losing streak to a winning streak within the blink of an eye.

Unfortunately, with the largest comeback in Stanford history, the Stanford team managed to secure an upset victory against Sanders. Game day turned into a nightmare for the entire team and their fans. Following the loss, the coach encouraged the players’ commitment by posing a challenging question.

Deion Sanders questions Colorado players’ commitment

At the beginning of the game, Deion Sanders instructed his team to play quickly and aggressively, and they lived up to his words, advancing 29-0 by halftime. The Buffaloes seemed to struggle on both sides of the field when they came out after the break. The scoreboard soon began to tilt in favor of the Stanford team.

Eventually, the Colorado team had to conclude the game with a devastating 46-43 double-overtime loss to Stanford. Fans couldn’t hold back their emotions and were moved to tears. In the midst of all this, Deion Sanders emerged as a source of comfort for his players.

Instead of criticizing them, Shedeur Sanders’ father boosted them, telling them to cherish their love for football. He claimed that behind his success the love for the game played a vital role, hence throwing the question to his players saying, “Are they in love with this game?”

“They gotta make up in their mind are they in love with this game or in like with it?… I’m truly 100% in love with this thing and I just want people to match me.”

Though Coach Prime remained positive, he also shared that his team’s double OT loss to the Stanford team was a tough one for him to put up with.

Sanders seen arguing with Carter Stoutmire

The Buffaloes started the game on a high note but left the game with a humiliating loss. All the players were spotted leaving the field bending their heads.

However, among the players, their cornerback Carter Stoutmire was apparently much disturbed. Following the game, Stoutmire was spotted arguing with Coach Prime on the sidelines. 

After a clip of the incident went viral, the NFL community bashed the cornerback heavily for his unprofessional act. Many fans also raised questions about his discipline as the coach was here to rectify his plays not admitting his harsh attitude.
