Despite having millions of fans around the world, her greatest supporter has been her father, WWE legend Ric Flair. Although Charlotte faced defeat in her latest match, the Hall of Famer still praised his daughter’s performance against Iyo Sky.
Charlotte Flair receives praise from her father
On the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, WWE Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky and Charlotte Flair fought in a match for the Women’s Championship title. The Damage CTRL member was able to retain her title with the help of her stablemates. They assaulted the Queen brutally inside the ring until Bianca Belair came to her rescue.
Despite this tragic defeat, Charlotte Flair got praise from the audience present in the arena for keeping three women in check at the same time. Her father, WWE legend Ric Flair, also praised her high-octane performance against Iyo Sky. Following her match that night, Ric Flair posted on Instagram and compared his daughter to male WWE superstars.
“Congratulations to the @WWE Women’s Division! You Just Made The Boys Look So Lame Because You All Are Just SO GOOD! WOOOOO! @charlottewwe @iyo_sky” Ric Flair wrote on Instagram with a picture from that match of Charlotte handling Sky.
Iyo Sky beats Charlotte Flair
On the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Iyo Sky retained her WWE Women’s Championship title against Charlotte Flair in an electrifying bout, given their long history over the title. The match began in the usual fashion, with Charlotte taking the initiative by delivering a spear to Iyo Sky after a series of punches.
However, Bayley soon interfered to save her stablemate from The Queen’s wrath. This interference cost Charlotte a potential pin and led to her inadvertently hitting Bayley. Later, as she attempted to spear Bayley, Iyo Sky capitalized on the situation and pinned Flair to retain the title.

After the match, a brawl broke out inside the ring, where Charlotte Flair was attacked by the whole Damage CTRL faction at once, and Bianca Belair made a grand return to save The Queen.
