Reporter Darren Rovell took to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, to share an image of a Hertz receipt that he found in one of their rental cars. Surprisingly, the receipt for the 2023 Suburban rental was later discovered to belong to Brady, and it listed a return date of August 31.

The reporter tagged the three-time NFL MVP in the post with the caption,“Hey Tom Brady I think you left your receipt in the center console of your rental in the Hamptons…Well, I guess you really do use Hertz!” Actually, he tried to indicate the endorsement between the brand and TB12.

The California Cool retweeted the post to ensure that the receipt belongs to him. However, he made fans burst into laughter by asking about the advertisement value of the viral receipt.

“I tried to tell you guys I actually use Hertz. What’s the ad value of this receipt Darren?” he wrote in response.

NFL netizens rallied under the signal-caller’s post to convey their take on this interesting communication. While some fans pointed out the big amount on the receipt, some even bashed the company for not giving a discount to their favorite QB.

Brady joined hands with Hertz for the first time in October 2021 when the company publicly declared its industry-leading investment in electric vehicles.
