The world of Formula 1 is known for its constant evolution, and Mercedes has wholeheartedly embraced the changes recently. It is known as the next best team apart from Red Bull in this generation, giving a heated challenge to the Hulk of the Industry, Max Verstappen.

Mike Elliott departs as Mercedes CTO after 11 years
After an 11-year collaboration, Chief Technical Officer Mike Elliott has bid farewell to Mercedes. Mike has earned immense respect from the team for his unwavering dedication to Mercedes, especially during challenging times.
However, the talented individual has decided to be on a hiatus from the sport until he decides on his next endeavor.
Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff has applauded Mike’s selfless dedication to the team for years. Furthermore, he said that Mike has been a pivotal figure in the team’s accomplishments throughout the past decade, contributing to both the team’s ethos and their successive triumphs.
Lastly, when asked about his sentiments concerning his departure, Mike responded, “It has been one of the great privileges of my career to be part of this Mercedes team. During my time, I have seen it grow from a group of people pulling together to win races, then a first championship, to winning a record eight consecutive constructors’ championships – and I am proud to have made my contribution to that journey.”
“Although the last two seasons have not seen us winning races in the manner we aspire to, they have tested us in many other ways – and forced us to question our fundamental assumptions about how we deliver performance. During the past six months, I have enjoyed developing the technical strategy that we hope can provide the foundations of the team’s next cycle of success.”

After a disappointing week in Austin, Mercedes has finally reclaimed its position with an incredible performance by Lewis Hamilton at the Mexican Grand Prix. Starting from the sixth position on the grid, no one expected Hamilton to outpace both Ferrari drivers at the event.
Thanks to Mercedes’s brilliant strategy and the use of medium tires after the race was flagged, Hamilton quickly overtook Charles Leclerc, securing the second position in the race, and he’s now just 20 points behind Sergio Perez in the Drivers’ Standings.
