Did Jaycee Horn get caught using a burner account? NFL Twitter believes Panthers CB is “PANTHERS4L”

Jaycee Horn showcased his immense potential after getting selected by the Carolina Panthers as the No. 8 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. However, the defender didn’t find his health on his side along the way.

Injury has been a major concern for Jaycee over the years. From his rookie season to this year’s OTA, he barely managed to appear on the field. However, besides his on-field struggle, he has been caught red-handed by NFL fans while engaging in an embarrassing social media activity.

Jaycee Horn allegedly used a burner account

Horn made his X account private a while ago, but the NFL netizens found his activity disguised as that of another person. An X account was only posting about the Panthers star and also taking digs at his haters. Surprisingly, it was created after the veteran went private on his official account, and fans think he was caught using a burner.

Aside from the off-field embarrassment, the third-year cornerback is having ups and downs in his professional career. He has played in only 18 of a possible 34 games for the Panthers since getting drafted. The South Carolina native already missed a substantial number of matches during his first two seasons in Carolina.

Jaycee Horn’s injury update

Horn was placed on the injured reserve list due to the hamstring injury he sustained during the Colts season opener against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. He is now expected to miss at least the next four games before returning to action.

On September 13, Carolina‘s head coach Frank Reich announced via NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe that the young star felt a “pop” when he sustained the injury. He also revealed that both surgery and injured reserve were possible options for the CB.

“He’s working through getting other opinions and just seeing the full extent of it. It’s a serious hamstring injury, he’s going to be out for a while, for an extended period of time but I still don’t have enough information to kinda give a definitive statement on exactly what’s going to be the course of action with him. Hopefully we get that answer in the next day or two.”

Meanwhile, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network said the young star is not expected to be benched for the remainder of the season. Instead, Rapoport said he could be back on the squad at some point in the second half of the season.

The team was already struggling with the players in the position, as both D’Shawn Jamison and Mac McCain were plagued by injuries, keeping the 24-year-old CJ Henderson as their only option as CB. On top of that, Reich’s team doesn’t have a first-round pick next season, as his team traded it for the first overall pick this year to the Chicago Bears.
