Dillon Brooks mocks Russell Westbrook with hilarious taunt after dunk attempt during Clippers’ first victory in seven games

The Clippers faced the Houston Rockets on Friday and Rockets guard Dillon Brooks had a confrontation with Russell Westbrook. Brooks is known for his trash-talking antics in the NBA. He has also been nicknamed the villain of the NBA for his harsh choice of words against his opponents.

He recently trash-talked the Lakers star LeBron James, however, it didn’t turn out well, as Bron delivered a great performance against him. This time, Brook has chosen the Los Angeles Clippers star, Mr. Triple-Double, Russell Westbrook. Brook passed a comment on Russ after he failed an attempt to dunk the ball in the Houston vs. Clippers match on Friday night.

Dillon Brooks calls out Clippers’ Russell Westbrook

The Clippers were matched up against the Houston Rockets in the NBA In-Season Tournament where they secured the win after a tough match. Russell Westbrook, who has been a shadow of his former self in the past few seasons, performed well alongside the newest recruit for Lob City, James Harden.

However, he was not spared from the infamous trash talk of the Houston star, Dillon Brooks. Russ got some space near the box during a Clippers attack and decided to throw the ball into the basket. His attempt failed miserably, as the ball hit the board and did not go into the basket. Brooks immediately jumped in excitement to mock the failed attempt. Later, he can be seen talking to Russ and making a mean comment.

There was no clear audio of the words he said but the movement of Brooks’ lips indicated that he said, “You ain’t got no bounce, trash!” Russ was amused by Brooks’ comments and was laughing as the match was close and his team had the rhythm.

Clippers end six-game losing streak with help of James Harden

The Los Angeles Clippers were having a bad early season and it now looks like the situation might take a turn for the better. Lob City ended their six-game losing streak with a win over the Houston Rockets. Their newest recruit James Harden took responsibility for securing the win for his new team with a 24-point performance and a crucial 4-point clutch play with only six seconds left on the clock.

Kawhi Leonard and Paul George of the Clippers also had a great game and contributed to the victory. They both scored 26 points and 23 points, respectively, helping their team reduce the point difference. This was the first In-Season Tournament win for the Clippers in the three matches they had played. This was also their first win in November, as they had lost five consecutive games after acquiring James Harden.

What do you think of the trash-talking habits of Dillon Brooks? Do you think the Clippers will be able to have a good season after this win? We are eager to hear from you, so let us know in the comments section.
