Dillon Danis calls out Jake Paul to a fight after he humiliates himself horribly while fighting Logan Paul

Dillon Danis, once an acclaimed Jiu-Jitsu grappler, now an internet troll, is again making the rounds on the internet. This is after he lost bragging rights to Logan Paul in his humiliating defeat to the elder Paul brother in the prime card.

Danis, as usual, took to platform X (Formerly Twitter) to call out his next fight against Jake Paul, the younger brother of Logan Paul to a boxing bout. It needs to be noted that Jake is more credentialed than Logan when it comes to the realm of boxing.

Dillon Danis calls out Jake Paul to a fight

In the aftermath of his defeat to Logan Paul via DQ in a humiliating performance, Dillon Danis took it to X to call out his next fight. After the defeat against the elder Paul brother, Danis is now setting his sights on the younger Paul brother. It needs to be noted that Jake Paul is 7-1 in professional boxing compared to 1-1 for Logan Paul.

Dillon Danis tweeted on X, “Hey @jakepaul your brother hits like a bitch if you knock me out I’ll retire forever and give everyone who likes this 2k”. Interestingly enough, X provided a warning beneath Danis’ tweet, “Dillon Danis often offers to give large sums of money to those who interact with his tweets. There is no evidence that he has ever paid a follower for liking or retweeting one of his tweets.” This further berates Danis as an internet troll.

Danis made a name for himself and became popular owing to his association with Conor McGregor. However, his name began to attract negative connotations after a bouncer choked him out. Furthermore, celebrity boxer, Anthony Taylor punched him which further made him an internet joke. He also pulled out of a scheduled bout he had with KSI.

Preluding his bout with Logan Paul, Danis attacked Nina Agdal, the fiancee of Logan Paul on social media. Danis posted public images of Agdal with her ex-boyfriends on social media. This action has resulted in Agdal filing a restraining order and defamation lawsuit against Danis. Some have questioned while others have defended this action.

Dillon Danis fight with Logan Paul ends in embarrassing DQ

The recent boxing match between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis turned chaotic. The bout quickly became a bewildering spectacle. Logan Paul won, but neither fighter enhanced their reputation, especially Danis. Though labeled a professional bout, the match didn’t meet fan expectations.

Paul took the fight seriously, throwing deliberate punches. On the other hand, Danis seemed more keen on avoiding a knockout, dancing around the ring carelessly. Their differing styles were evident from the outset. In the second round, Paul showcased his boxing prowess with a series of combinations. Danis, however, adopted strange tactics. At one point, he even lay on his back, making a joke of the contest.

Meanwhile, Tommy Fury narrowly beat YouTuber KSI in the main event. Yet, the Paul-Danis fight drew attention for the wrong reasons. Commenting on DAZN, Ariel Helwani remarked that Danis focuses on viral moments, not the fight and it’s disappointing. Danis’ behavior grew more questionable. He taunted Paul and tried takedowns in the fifth and sixth rounds, breaking boxing rules. Consequently, he lost a point. The bout quickly escalated into a brawl as security from both sides intervened.

Post-fight, Danis faced widespread criticism. Fans and commentators denounced his behavior. Michael Benson of TalkSports said that Danis talked big but delivered nothing and it’s embarrassing. Damon Martin from MMA Fighting echoed this sentiment, labeling the event as an embarrassment. MMA reporter Aaron Bronster stated that Danis trolled everyone and the match was a letdown.

In the aftermath of a humiliating defeat, Danis has called out Jake Paul. Do you think Jake Paul would accept a fight with Danis after fighting the likes of Nate Diaz?
