On X (Formerly Twitter), Dillon Danis directed a message to UFC President Dana White, urging him to book a fight against the rising star Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 294. “I’m free next week @danawhite give me Khamzat Chimaev.”Danis tweeted, showing his desire to face the Chechen-born fighter. However, it is to be noted that Danis is an internet troll and has not even signed up for the promotion.
Chimaev is known for his explosive style and dominant performances. He quickly climbed the UFC rankings at welterweight and after weight-cut-related issues post-contraction with COVID-19, he is testing his mettle at middleweight. Dillon Danis, on the other hand, had a two-fight stint at Bellator, where he won both fights via submission.
Danis has since become an internet troll and has not fought in combat sports. The Jiu-Jitsu standout is set to face Logan Paul on the prime card on October 14. The MMA community has buzzed since Danis’s callout. Fans and analysts are not taking it seriously. They know that Danis is doing it to get traction and is in no way going to beat Khamzat Chimaev.
Danis is a betting underdog in his upcoming fight against Logan Paul. Danis was booked to fight KSI, but he pulled out of the bout and has since been treated as a troll. Moreover, he is also facing a defamation lawsuit from Nina Agdal, the fiancee of Logan Paul.
Paulo Costa rumored to be out of UFC 294

Costa had surgery for bursitis five weeks ago and might have reopened the stitches in the elbow. Khamzat Chimaev, his opponent, is known for his undefeated win streak and is an exciting fighter to watch.
The UFC has not yet announced Costa’s status. However, insiders express concerns about his recovery time after surgery. They also worry about the risks if he returns to the Octagon too soon. Reports say that Marvin Vettori, the fifth-ranked middleweight, declined the chance to face Chimaev on short notice. Vettori’s decision has increased the suspense about who will fight Chimaev if Costa withdraws.
UFC 294 already lost Charles Oliveira in the main event. Oliveira suffered an injury during sparring and was replaced by Alexander Volkanovski on short notice. If the promotion loses Costa, the card, which was initially deemed to be a blockbuster, will be lackluster.
