The Group, currently in the final stages of acquiring the NFL’s Denver Broncos, officially announced Hamilton’s inclusion in the incoming ownership team. As of the latest developments, the NFL’s finance committee has recommended approval of the Broncos’ sale, with a final decision slated for the league’s owners’ meeting on August 9 in Minneapolis. The deal, valued at a record-setting $4.65 billion, will be formalized if at least 24 teams vote in favour.

The 37-year-old driver holds the 17th spot on the Forbes’ list of the highest earning athletes in 2022, boasting earnings of $65 million. With 103 F1 victories and 188 podium finishes in his illustrious 16-year career, Hamilton is one of the most decorated drivers in the history open wheel racing’s top division.

Notably, Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson expressed a warm welcome to Lewis Hamilton via Twitter.
