Dominik Mysterio reportedly joins Rhea Ripley on injured list

Dominik Mysterio appeared on the 4/22 episode of WWE RAW with a sling on his left hand. At first glance, it seemed like an angle to interject Santos Escobar into a story with The Judgment Day, but things cleared up soon enough.

As per Fightful, Dominik Mysterio suffered a legitimate injury. Presumably, the injury came in a match last week against Andrade on RAW, since he has not wrestled after that. Dirty Dom was also pulled out of WWE’s UK tour and was replaced by Ricochet.

Since the extent of the injury is yet unclear, no return timeline could be provided at the time of writing. It is worth mentioning that Dom announced that he was “banged up” on RAW, which led to Santos Escobar replacing him to team up with JD McDonagh for a match against the team of Ricochet and Andrade.

The team representing The Judgment Day fell short of victory, which then fueled the growing discontent within the faction. While all this happened, Rhea Ripley reacted to her on-screen love interest’s injury.

Rhea Ripley had to relinquish her World title due to an injury after an attack by Liv Morgan on the night after WrestleMania 40. Mami is currently out of action for an estimated time of 4 months but made sure to keep an eye on her stablemates.

While Rhea overcame the initial concern after seeing Finn Balor’s social media post, The Eradicator posted the following when she saw Dominik wearing a sling:

Rhea Ripley’s on-screen romance with the son of the WWE Hall of Famer, Rey Mysterio, earned a lot of heat for Dominik, but the absence of their unmatched chemistry on WWE programming will undeniably hurt the product moving forward. With Dominik Mysterio out of commission for an unspecified time, it will be worth monitoring how WWE will proceed with The Judgment Day story.
