Dwayne Johnson gifts his truck and $100,000 cash to father-son duo

After wrapping up his WWE spell that headlined WrestleMania 40, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is focusing on the side quests available to him. The Final Boss recently announced venturing into the world of MMA with his movie project, as the Hollywood star is returning to the familiar habitat of his golden screen life.

Besides earning his bread and butter through movies and wrestling among his many talents, Dwayne Johnson is also renowned for his generosity. In his latest social media post, The Rock shared a video of a meeting with the father-son duo of Isaiah and Ricardo Garza.

Ricardo Garza is a single father who runs a cleaning business, the same profession as Dwayne’s father when he hit rock bottom. Remembering how his father cared for the family during the hard times, DJ gifted the family of two his personal truck, along with $100,000 cash.

The Rock in his post highlighted the similar situations of his father and Ricardo which made the former world champion emotional. Ricardo also showed him a tattoo of the Brahma Bull which he inked 20 years ago. But this was not the first time Johnson showed his generous side. He also shared a wholesome moment when he met the person who took him in at his lowest.

Dwayne Johnson once gifted a truck to man he met at 15

There’s a reason why Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is called the people’s champ. Back in 2021, the former world champion met his long-time friend, Bruno, on the sets of the “Young Rock” series and surprised him with a gift to remember.

Dwayne revealed how he lived with Bruno in Mississippi at the age of 15 when he had no place to go. Bruno not only sheltered him but also bought him his first car for $40. Years later, The Rock returned the favor by gifting him a truck which was reportedly worth $30K.

The Rock also made the headlines for a similar gift to a Navy veteran and, most recently, surprised UFC fighter Themba Gorimbo after hearing about his inspiring journey.

The Rock already declared that he is setting his eyes on WrestleMania 41, but even without his in-ring presence, Dwayne Johnson is a gift that keeps giving.
