In that movie, Johnson played the part of a rescue-chopper pilot, who was trying to find and save his daughter before a disaster struck. And quite recently, it has been reported that a Broadbeach Waters mega-mansion featured in the film is up for grabs.
Dwayne Johnson’s Aussie abode up for sale
The Broadbeach Waters mansion, also known as Te Moana, was famously featured in Dwayne Johnson’s 2015 film, San Andreas. It was featured in several scenes of the movie and is now reportedly up for sale. However, the buyer would need to have access to deep pockets. The mansion last changed hands in 2020, for an astonishing amount of $12.5 million.
The sale of the mansion was marketed by Rebecca Moffrey, of Ray White Burleigh Group. While Ms. Moffrey has not shared any price guide for the mansion, she has compared it to the landmark Isle of Capri mansion, which has the title of being the state’s most expensive residential property ever sold at auction in July. The mansion was built in 1992 on a prized lot, with 42m of water frontage, and was hailed as one of Australia’s best homes. It was also seemingly the perfect fit as a local base for Johnson’s film, San Andreas.
The extravagant resort-themed home is a two-story mansion with 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. It also has a huge alfresco entertaining terrace with an outdoor kitchen, a 17m swimming pool, jetty, pontoon, and a six-car garage. Also, to say that the house was featured in one of Dwayne Johnson’s action films itself is quite the showoff. The mansion is also described as the “Taj Mahal of its day with a very red terracotta, Mediterranean style.”
Significant investments of the WWE legend
Dwayne Johnson is known to have a number of investments, from which he generates a huge revenue. Throughout the years, The Brahma Bull has made multiple investments, from his own production company to a minor football league called XFL.
One of The Rock’s most significant investments is his own production company, called the Seven Bucks Productions. It’s a leading production house founded by Johnson and his ex-wife, Dany Garcia. It has released all of its movies and TV shows, such as Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Jungle Cruise, Black Adam, and Red Notice to name a few.
He also owns the famous spirits drink company, Teramana Tequila. It was apparently a lifelong dream of Dwayne Johnson, which came to fruition in 2020. He also owns the XFL, which was initially started by WWE ex-chairman, Vince McMahon. However, it failed twice under his leadership, until it was bought by Johnson. He has reportedly signed a deal with NFL and will likely start training camps this year.
When it comes to the place where he started, Johnson is yet to make an appearance in WWE. There have been rumors about him showing up to fight his cousin, Roman Reigns. Dwayne Johnson has even teased a potential appearance during WrestleMania weekend this year. Fans will have to wait and hope that they see The Great One return to the ring once again.
