Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson issues a formidable threat to Roman Reigns’ throne after his return to WWE RAW

The Peoples Champion and the former WWE Champion, The Rock made an electrifying return to the special edition of Day 1 Monday Night RAW at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California.

The Rock was involved in a segment with the former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, who also made his return to WWE tonight. At the end Rock gave a promo that has sparked a potential feud with the current WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.

The Rock wants to sit at Roman Reigns’ throne

Rock and Jinder Mahal shared a few words on the ring before Mahal attacked The Rock and The Rock hit a spine buster to Mahal. After beating out Jinder Mahal, Rock cut a promo by adding, “Or should The Rock sit at the Head of The Table”.

This have sparked a huge reaction from the fans, who have been waiting for years to see the dream match between The Rock and Roman Reigns. With the today’s statement, it is clear that The Rock will be going against Roman Reigns not only the for the Universal Championship but also to determine who the real Head of The Table is.

Earlier this year on the Pat McAfee show, The Rock revealed that WWE secretly planned a match between him and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. The Rock also confirmed that he spoke with Triple H regarding the match, and it went well.

But The Rock said the match never happened as the fans started to guess the story line and also said it will surely happen in the future.

WrestleMania 40 has become the most hyped WrestleMania of all time as Roman Reigns is set to defend his title at Royal Rumble 2024 against the winner of the triple threat match between Randy Orton, LA Knight and AJ styles. If The Rock is set to confront Reigns and challenge him for a match at WrestleMania 40, Royal Rumble is the best time to see the great ones meet.

The Rock returns to WWE RAW

The Rock made a surprising return to WWE Day 1 RAW as the Chief content officer of WWE, Triple H, confirmed a former WWE Champion is set to return today. At first Jinder Mahal made his appearance to the ring and claimed that he was the Champion that was set to return. Mahal addressed the crowd and claimed that people of USA are disgusting, and USA have become the biggest joke.

The crowd was disappointed until The Rock entered the arena by interrupting Mahal. The Rock got the crowd to chant against Mahal and hit Mahal with the most electrifying move of all time, the peoples elbow.

The Rock’s return was not confirmed for today’s RAW episode, as many superstars including Batista was expected to return to WWE for the induction into Hall of Fame 2024. Rock’s return has made the fans happy, and it is a good start for WWE to enter into the new year.
