Dwayne Johnson praised Ripley’s performance and asked her to raise the bar. The Brahma Bull has become a fan of the current WWE Women’s World Champion and has shown his appreciation for her work on Raw.
The Rock talks on the encounter with Rhea Ripley
WWE superstar The Rock made a grand return to Monday Night Raw last week, which was a pleasant surprise for WWE fans. During his visit, he interacted with the rising WWE female superstar Rhea Ripley and had some fun backstage.
The Rock’s comeback was a major highlight of that episode. He also delivered a massive beating to Jinder Mahal and hinted at a possible match with Roman Reigns. The Rock recently shared some backstage pictures on Instagram. The photos featured him alongside Judgment Day’s Rhea Ripley and broadcaster Cathy Kelley.

When will The Rock return to in-ring action?
In September 2023, The Rock made a grand homecoming to WWE after a four-year break, much to the delight of the WWE Universe. However, fans were disappointed that they didn’t get to see him in action and have been eagerly anticipating his return to the ring.
Recent reports suggest that he The Rock will most likely to make a comeback at the WWE Elimination Chamber 2024, which will be held in Australia. On September 21 of last year, the WWE announced that they would be hosting the Elimination Chamber in Australia. They previously brought back The Rock Johnson for an episode of SmackDown on September 15.
This move motivated the Australian Tourist Board to request that the WWE bring The Brahma Bull to the event. According to wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is a possibility that The Rock, might be coming to Perth soon.
However, the news is not yet confirmed. Meltzer also mentioned that this potential visit aligns with a recent trend that WWE has been following. He provided two important details but did not elaborate further.
“The West Australian, a newspaper out of the Perth area, got some info from the Freedom of Information Act since the Elimination Chamber show on 2/24 is being promoted by the government’s tourism board. The board asked WWE if it was possible to get Dwayne Johnson on the show. They never said WWE agreed to it,” wrote Dave Meltzer.
There hasn’t been any official confirmation yet on whether The Rock will be appearing in the Elimination Chamber 2024 event. However, rumors are circulating that WWE may make a move on this in the upcoming weeks following the WWE Royal Rumble 2024 event.
