Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson went off on WWE script after off-script Cody Rhodes assault on RAW backstage

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has recently transformed into a heel character, which has created a lot of excitement in WWE programming. His new persona combines his quirky Hollywood charm with the rebellious attitude that defined his identity in the 1990s, resulting in a unique blend of strength and subtlety.

The wrestling community was stunned by The Great One’s surprise appearance on Monday Night Raw, especially when he unexpectedly faced off against Cody Rhodes. With WWE WrestleMania 40 coming up on Saturday, The Rock is set to make his return to the ring, and fans are counting down to another possible surprise.

The Rock doesn’t want to follow WWE scripts

On March 25th’s edition of WWE Raw, The Rock confronted Cody Rhodes and later shared a video revealing what happened after the show. In the closing moments of the episode, The Great One attacked Cody Rhodes, leaving him beaten in the parking lot. The show ended with The Rock standing over his opponent, who was left grounded.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has posted a video on Instagram that reveals how the fight between him and Cody Rhodes did not end with the live broadcast. The video shows The Rock using a weight belt to attack Rhodes while yelling at the producers. You can watch the video below.

“I hate constraints and bulls**t rules – and just because some @wwe producer says, “clear” (meaning, we are no longer live on the air and the show is over) that doesn’t mean I just stop whatever I’m doing and tell everyone a great job. It f**king pissed me off. I can’t shut my emotions off just because a script says we’re done.”

“But this is a microcosm of a larger issue I have with individuals, corporations & governments – telling us what we can or can’t do. You have to do it this way, you have to say it that way, or you’ll get canceled.”

“They create fear if you have a different perspective and don’t live by their rules. It’s their way or no way. F**k that. I say it the way I want to say it. I do it the way I want to do it. My choice. Our choice. – Final Boss,” wrote The Rock in the caption of that Instagram post.

Why did The Rock brutally assault Cody Rhodes backstage?

During the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, Paul Heyman revealed the mastermind behind The Rock’s recent assault on Cody Rhodes. After a whispered exchange between The Rock and Rhodes during this week’s WWE Raw, fans were left in suspense, unsure of what was about to unfold.

However, during the closing stages of the show, The Final Boss launched a brutal assault on Rhodes backstage, leaving him bloodied. This turned out to be one of the most memorable segments in recent history.

During this week’s episode of SmackDown, Paul Heyman revealed that it was The Head of the Table, Roman Reigns, who was behind the attack and had ordered The Great One to take out The American Nightmare.

“The Rock took out Cody Rhodes by orders of The Tribal Chief,” said Paul Heyman.

On this week’s episode of SmackDown, Heyman, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa were the only members of The Bloodline present. However, fans are eagerly looking forward to the upcoming go-home episode of Monday Night RAW, as both The Rock and Roman Reigns are scheduled to appear leading up to Wrestlemania 40.
