The Philadelphia Eagles overshadowed others in the NFC in 2022 after going 14-3, and their players are showcasing every potential to take revenge for the last-moment defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs in the upcoming season. Meanwhile, Philly special teams linebacker Shaun Bradley is set to miss the whole season after getting plagued by injuries.
Bradley was selected by the Eagles in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He was expected to provide depth to a group of young corps including newcomers Myles Jack and Zach Cunningham. Meanwhile, the franchise is already facing troubles for the linebacker after losing T.J. Edwards and Kyzir White in free agency.
Shaun Bradley suffers a massive injury and likely to miss entire NFL 2023 season
Bradley suffered a torn Achilles during the third quarter of the Eagles‘ 20-19 preseason loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday evening while going to the ground while on punt coverage. The linebacker was blocking for Ty Zentner when he fell to the turf and later he couldn’t put any force on his right foot. He was eventually carted off the field and the Philadelphia squad surrounded their fellow teammate before he was taken inside.

The Temple alum expressed his disappointment in the social media post following the unpleasant situation and remained optimistic about his recovery process.
“Thank you to everyone who has reached out [and] kept me in their prayers. It was needed. Not how I wanted the season to end for me, but I believe that God truly does give his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. I’ve been beating the odds my entire life, I’m not even supposed to be here. Just another chapter in my story. I will be back better than I ever was. I can promise that.”
