Elon Musk once made surprise discovery during Miami GP electric car challenge to Christian Horner

Formula One, known for its high-profile events, often attracts A-list celebrities who either come to appreciate the races or show support for their favorite drivers. In a notable incident at the Miami Grand Prix, Elon Musk was observed engaging in an extended conversation with Christian Horner.

The prolonged discussion between the two prominent figures added an extra layer of intrigue to the event, leaving the spectators and fans curious about their potential conversation.

Elon Musk’s unexpected discovery during Miami GP

This year, on the Florida paddock, there was a crowd of many celebrities, among them the visionaries behind Tesla, Paypal, SpaceX, and the current owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, known for his ground-breaking innovations.

However, his presence did not capture the attention of the audience as much as his potential conversation with Christian Horner did. He attended the third practice session at the Circuit  as a guest of the Austrian band. Upon observing the curiosity of the spectators, Musk later posted on Twitter to share insights into the extensive discussion he had with the Red Bull boss.

Musk tweeted, “Fun discussion of aero & battery technology in F1. I proposed a pure EV vs gas/hybrid F1 race.”

The revelation catalyzed swift responses from the Formula E enthusiasts, who were quick to point out that this electronic racing series already exists. Musk’s proposed idea, however, introduces a unique twist: a clash of propulsion and technologies.

Christian Horner’s hilarious opinion on Formula E

Christian Horner, on the other hand, has a unique perspective on Formula E sports. In May of this year, SoyMotor reported an interesting perspective from the Red Bull team boss. In his eyes, the exhilarating sound of the engines plays a vital role in maintaining the excitement of the sport. He claimed that Formula E is like “going to a rock or pop concert with no volume,” a statement that caused a lot of chaos on the internet.

Furthermore, Horner proceeded to share his belief that internal combustion engines are far from being outdated. According to him, as Formula One teams approach to a completely carbon-zero approach, these traditional engines will endure and continue to captivate fans with their thrilling performances. In his opinion, Formula E is not even close to being as exciting as Formula 1.
