Tyreek Hill sets bold Hall of Fame goal
While speaking to the reporters on Wednesday, the veteran star said when he enters the HOF, he would like to earn it as a Dolphins member following taking a dig at the Chiefs for preferring a young face over him.
“I feel like (what I’m doing) here is much more special. You’re in a great city with a bunch of legends. Being able to do something here similar to what the (undefeated) ‘72 team did would be remarkable. I would want to enter (the Hall of Fame) here.”
The 29-year-old Hill can quickly pass the 10,000 receiving-yard threshold in the next two seasons if he remains at his prime and he might be able to earn a Hall of Fame title if can manage to pass the 13,000-yard threshold.
Hill sheds light on ‘boneheaded mistake’
While talking with the reporters on Wednesday during the Dolphins training camp, Tyreek was asked about the update on his alleged assault at the Haulover Beach Marina. He said didn’t divulge any information about the incident saying he is fully cooperating with the NFL in investigating it.
“As far as the story, I’m not here to get into that. I’m here to play ball. I understand the question totally, but the issue has been resolved. I’m currently cooperating with the NFL and giving them all the details on what happened that day.”
The 29-year-old was later asked if the assault case can throw any challenge to his career. However, he shrugged it off and continued expressing thankful gestures to get the chance to reform the ‘boneheaded mistakes’.
“When I’m able to come here and play ball, I get a chance to get away from all that at the end of the day. That’s the great thing about football. I just make boneheaded mistakes like that.”
The football star might not have to fight legal battles, albeit the league’s investigation will determine whether he would be suspended for the upcoming games or he would be getting fines for the allegation.
