The UFC recently announced via their official channels that the promotion would go to Lousiville, Kentucky for a fight night on June 8. Reports speculate that a middleweight MMA fight between Jared Cannonier and Nassourdine Imavov is all but official for the fight night.
Alex Behunin of MMAmania was the first to report the news of the matchup between the 4th-ranked Cannonier and the 8th-ranked Imavov. After the UFC announced their plans, featherweight counter Diego Lopes had expressed interest in headlining the fight night.

However, it seems that the UFC has other plans with Lopes with the potential announcement of Cannonier and Imavov looming. Dana White had recently announced Joaquin Buckley vs. Nursulton Ruziboev as the co-main event of UFC St. Louis.
With Cannonier and Imavov as the headlining fight and several exciting matchups on the undercard, UFC Louisville is shaping up to be an exciting fight card.
Fights announced for UFC Louisville
The UFC has stacked their return to Lousiville, Kentucky, with an exciting fight card with two former title challengers, rising contenders, and veteran fan favorites. The most high-profile fight announced, is between Dustin Jacoby and Dominick Reyes, who went toe to toe with Jon Jones.

Also on the card is an exciting bantamweight matchup between Raul Rosas Jr., a teen sensation, and Ricky Turcios, the TUF Season 30 winner. Brad Katona, the only two-time winner of TUF is also on the card, against Jesse Butler. Brunno Ferreira will face off with Dustin Stoltzfus in an exciting middleweight fight.

Eduarda Moura and Daniel Marcos, two undefeated fighters on the card will lock horns with Denise Gomes and John Castadena, respectively. Puja Tomar, an Indian fighter, would be looking to upset the odds against Rayanne dos Santos in an exciting strawweight matchup.

Miguel Baeza versus Punahele Soriano at welterweight, Thiago Moises versus Ludovit Klein at lightweight, Charles Radtke versus Carlos Prates at welterweight, and Cody Stamann versus Taylor Lapilus at bantamweight are the other exciting fights on the card.
