Ferrari is ready to unveil their highly anticipated Formula One car for the 2024 season on Tuesday, February 13, as they aim to intensify their competition with Red Bull.
While Ferrari is the first team to publicly announce their 2024 launch date, they have decided to keep specific details in the dark. The launch is scheduled strategically just eight days ahead of the commencement of pre-testing in Bahrain, scheduled to unfold from February 21–23.
Team Principal Fred Vasseur has disclosed that the Ferrai is on the edge of introducing a remarkable change within their team by changing “95% of the components of the car” that secured a third place at the Constructors’ Championship, lacking behind Red Bull and Mercedes.
Heading into the 2024 season, Vasseur, in his second season at the helm of the Prancing Horse, is overseeing the third car built in Maranello under the sweeping regulations built in 2022.

Following a challenging year marked by a solitary win at the Singapore GP, Ferrari has decided to change their game and level up to match their skills with Red Bull this season. Team Principal Fred Vassseur has confirmed massive changes for the vehicle to address the need for a formidable transformation that will hopefully surpass their rivals. Vasseur has emphasized that the upcoming creation will be completely different from its predecessor.
He said, “I don’t know if revolution is the right word.”
“We have the same regulations now three years in a row that you can’t change massively. It’s a matter of tenths of a second,” he continued.
“For sure, we have to take a step on that; we don’t underestimate the step. We are changing 95 percent of the components; perhaps you can consider that it’s a revolution; I don’t know if it will be.”
