NBA legend and popular sports analyst Charles Barkley is recently getting trolled for his predictions in the Celtics vs Bucks game. Shaquille O’Neal went in the opposite direction of Chuck and his guess hit the target.
Chuck gave his prediction for the matchup and predicted the winner of the game. However, it didn’t go as he predicted, and NBA Twitter was presented with another opportunity to roast the former Suns icon.

NBA legends Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley are one of the most popular analyst duos in the media world. They co-host TNT’s Inside the NBA show where the duo discusses many topics related to the game and also recaps recent fixtures of the regular season, giving their predictions. In the episode before the game between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics, all the panelists on the show gave their predictions.
Charles Barkley went with the Celtics as his pick for the winner in the matchup and Shaquille O’Neal countered him instantly. Shaq said, “They are going to beat the Celtics tonight. They are going to beat him by double digits.”
Barkley was taken aback by Shaq’s prediction and said that he was curious to watch the game. However, it turned out just as Shaq had predicted where the Bucks beat the Celtics in dominating fashion with a final score of 102-135.
Fans troll Charles Barkley over Celtics’ double-digit loss to Bucks
Jayson Tatum’s Boston Celtics were unable to beat Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Milwaukee Buks and the failure of Charles Barkley’s prediction yet again has the fans trolling him on social media.
One fan took pity on Barkley and suggested him sarcastically to give up on predicting winners. He said, “Chuck don’t do that”, while another fan called him out as a bad charm and suspected Boston’s chances of making it to the playoffs. He said, “Boston not gonna make it again this season because Chuck favors them. Guaranteed.”
A fan jokingly pointed out the monetary benefits of Charles Barkley’s prediction as he advised people to bet on the opposite team of Chuck’s predictions.
Another fan trolled Barkley by comparing him to Jim Cramer, the host of Mad Money on CNBC. He wrote, “Chuck is the Jim Cramer of making the right calls on what team wins games. Can we start an inverse Charles Barkley bet tracker?”
Many such comments trolled Barkley for his incorrect predictions and it looks like he should refrain from guessing winners for a while.
