Finn Balor labels The Rock “a lazy motherf—er ” for missing WWE Elimination Chamber

The Elimination Chamber 2024 event was highly anticipated by fans, as it featured an exciting match card with three title defenses, two Elimination Chamber matches, and the much-awaited Grayson Waller Effect segment. Despite the presence of several big WWE stars in Perth, fans still had high expectations for the event.

One of these expectations was to see The Rock compete inside the ring. He had recently become a member of The Bloodline. However, when an Australian fan asked Finn Balor, who was competing in Judgment Day, whether The Rock would show up for the Elimination Chamber, he received a surprising response.

The Rock labelled “a lazy motherf—er ” for no showing WWE Elimination Chamber

WWE superstar The Rock was absent from the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event held in Perth, Australia. Judgment Day member and half of the tag team champions, Finn Balor, took a dig at The Great One because of his absence.

The Rock gained attention during the WrestleMania 40 kickoff press event by slapping Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes and using profanity towards WWE CCO Triple H. He subsequently joined forces with The Bloodline and is anticipated to have a significant impact on the build-up to WrestleMania 40.

While Balor was in Australia, he was spotted in public with Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate, two wrestlers who had challenged the Judgment Day for the tag team championships. When asked in a video about The Rock’s status for Elimination Chamber: Perth, Balor called him a “lazy motherfu**er.”

The Rock’s next WWE appearance date revealed

The Rock was not part of WWE’s international Elimination Chamber event that took place this weekend. However, fans can expect to see him back on television soon. According to WWE’s Twitter account, he is scheduled to return to WWE SmackDown on March 1, when WWE goes to the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

During the last episode of SmackDown, The Rock made an appearance and announced his allegiance to The Bloodline. He is now portraying a heel character and took some verbal shots at the live audience in Utah, as well as the WWE Universe, which he referred to as “crybaby b.”

Originally, Johnson was set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40, but now he has expressed his disdain for Cody Rhodes, who has been scheduled to face The Tribal Chief instead.

On the January 1 episode of WWE Raw, The Rock made his return and confronted Jinder Mahal, a former WWE Champion. After exchanging some heated words, The Great One took down Mahal with a spinebuster, followed by The People’s Elbow. With Mahal out of the picture, he shifted his attention to his cousin, Roman Reigns, and asked the audience if he should take a seat at the head of the table.

Three weeks later, WWE announced that Johnson had been appointed to the board of directors for WWE’s parent company, TKO Group Holdings, as a high-profile executive. Additionally, Johnson’s daughter, Ava, was named the new General Manager for “WWE NXT.”
