Alejandro Garnacho can proudly say this, and it is even more impressive that the president is from Real Madrid. Florentino Perez, who is the president of arguably the best club ever, is hopeful to convince the young winger to join his club.
According to Spanish reports, the Real Madrid president wants to meet with Garnacho when he visits Manchester next month. He will be there to attend his side’s Champions League clash against Manchester City, and he will also try to convince the United player to leave his current side.

Real Madrid’s interest in the player dates back a long time, and it is reported they tried to lure him to Spain previously. However, he had signed a long-term contract until 2028 instead, which stalled any deal.
But they are now reviving their interest in him, in huge part due to chief scout Juni Calafat. He admires the player very much, and his Spanish nationality and previous youth experience with Spanish clubs Getafe and Atletico Madrid are also a boost. Garnacho is also a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo and may want to emulate the career of his idol. He has already emulated his idol by scoring a brilliant bicycle kick goal earlier this season.

Alejandro Garnacho produced a fine display yesterday in United’s 4-3 FA Cup quarterfinal comeback win against Liverpool. He helped create Antony’s equalizer in normal time and then assisted the winning goal for Amad Diallo in the last minutes of extra time.

However, it was confirmed by his brother Roberto Garnacho on his social media account that his older brother was injured. He was still suffering from a hamstring injury and had only trained two days prior to the game. And yet he played through the pain, and through all 120 minutes as well. It only shows the brilliant season the player is having and his hard work and determination for his club.
Alejandro Garnacho will now prepare for his next game with Manchester United against Brentford on March 31.
