Following defeat to Wildcats, Colorado HC Deion Sanders issues public apology to fans: “We still don’t know how to win”

With a 3-0 start, Deion Sanders’ coaching prowess let the Colorado Buffaloes team witness the sunrise for which they had been longing for years. Within just one season, the Buffaloes team grabbed the hype of the media so much that the team was visualized to end up being a playoff team by a former NFL player.

Nevertheless, despite all the predictions, a string of losing runs abruptly ended the Buffaloes team’s dream, prompting Coach Prime to request a few excuses.

Deion Sanders issues public apology

At Folsom Field, the Buffaloes geared up for their last home game of the season on Saturday. Like the other game of this season, fans of the Buffaloes flocked together to return home with a smile, seeing their favorite team’s win.

Yet, they were forced to leave the stadium with teary eyes after the Buffaloes’ loss to No. 24 Arizona, 34-31.

The scenario was awful and distressful for Deion Sanders as he was hoping to change the losing streak of the team with his quarterback son Shedeur Sanders, whose car was recently booted by the team. Confessing their guilt, Coach Prime sought a plea from the fans for being unable to live up to their expectations.

“I apologize … that we didn’t send them out right, in which we wanted to because they deserve it,” Sanders said in the press conference.

The fans’ support for the Buffaloes was beyond description; hence, the team’s failure was just unacceptable for the coach as it ended up adding another close loss to their stat.

“They’ve been supporting the heck out of us and they’ve been showing up and showing out—another sellout crowd that ended in disappointment.”

All the reporters in the conference room became speechless when Sanders responded to all their fierce questions by claiming, “We still don’t know how to win yet”.

Prior to this loss, Deion Sanders raised a crucial question for his players, as they were seemingly pissed off about the losing streak, although this time the head coach himself could not pull himself together.

Wildcats defeat Colorado Buffaloes

Till the final snaps of the game, nobody could imagine that the Wildcats would beat the Buffaloes. Tyler Loop connected on a 24-yard field goal with no time remaining, helping the Arizona team beat the Colorado team at sold-out Folsom Field.

Since the beginning of the game, the Deion Sanders team has been in possession, ending the first quarter with a seven-point lead. Though the Wildcats soon equaled the score, the Buffaloes team’s back-to-back stunning moves led the Arizona team to see a vicious battle.

At last, the fourth quarter unfolded the real winner of the clash, letting the Wildcats add 10 points in the final period to win 34-31. With the loss, the Buffaloes lost for the sixth time in seven games since their dazzling start.

The Buffaloes quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, ran for a score and threw for two more, finishing with 262 passing yards. Though with the play, he could not win the match, the starter went over the 10,000-yard mark for his career, per ESPN.

The Buffaloes have two straight road games to conclude the season. Do you think Deion Sanders’ team can astound their fans with a bounce-back performance this time?
