Former NFL star boldly predicts Cowboys won’t secure division title after 49ers embarrassment

Apart from being the most valuable franchise, the Dallas Cowboys possess a devoted fan base. To show their support for the Dallas team, the fan base rocketed their team’s two battles in the viewership among the season’s five most watched games after Week 4. However, the Dallas team dashed the fans’ hope in their Week 5 game, playing horribly and accepting a terrible loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

In the aftermath of the loss, former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson made a bold proclamation regarding the Cowboys’ prospects for securing the division title.

Keyshawn Johnson makes definitive statement about Cowboys

The Week 5 matchup between the 49ers and Cowboys was predicted to be one of the more exciting ones. As a result, the fight became a hot topic of conversation in the past week on “Undisputed” on Fox Sports 1, with Skip Bayless, Lil Wayne, Michael Irvin, and Keyshawn Johnson. Wayne, a well-known rapper and singer, predicted that the 49ers would win the game because the Cowboys lacked a potent weapon to defend them against the 49ers’ aggressiveness, except Micah Parson.

Wayne made a comment that seemed well-deserved after the Cowboys suffered a humiliating 42-10 defeat in the contest.

Though at that time Johnson was not spotted making any bold remarks against the Cowboys, after their terrible losing night, the former NFL wide receiver did not mince words from criticizing the Dallas team in his recent appearance on “Undisputed” Monday morning with Skip Bayless and Richard Sherman.

The Dallas team, according to Johnson, is no longer in contention to win the divisional championship. Following his admission, he didn’t take a seat to relax and said that the Cowboys team might possibly miss the playoffs while also guaranteeing that Dallas wouldn’t win the Super Bowl this year.

“Here’s a fact that I can promise you, they ain’t winning the damn division, I can promise you that. There’s a possibility they could miss the playoffs. There’s no Super Bowl, I can promise you that,” said Johnson.

The Cowboys have not suffered such a heartbreaking loss since losing to New Orleans 49-17 in 2013, so the Week 5 game’s result was unexpected

Eagles extend lead as Cowboys fall to 3-2 in NFC East standings

After accepting a loss lagging behind by 32 points, the Cowboys fell to 3-2 after five weeks of this season. They now trail the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles by two games in the NFC East standings. The Eagles team is only one of two teams that remain undefeated on the year.

The other team is the 49ers who forced them to accept their biggest defeat so far this season. Due to a finger injury on his throwing hand, Dak Prescott of the Dallas squad struggled during the game and only managed three interceptions.

Hence, the Cowboys supporters aired their anger at the starter, despite his injury. The night was completely different for the 49ers as their “Mr. Irrelevant” was in charge who not only won the game but also won the heart of the NFL fans by completing three of his four touchdown throws to George Kittle.

Nevertheless, the Cowboys dominated the New York Giants 0-40 to kick off the season. Prior to their shattering loss to the 49ers, every one of their games was notable on both sides of the ball, with the exception of the Arizona Cardinals’ shocking 28-16 victory over them.
