WWE superstar Indi Hartwell accepted an apology from her idol, CM Punk, via a social media post on January 1, 2024. This marks a significant moment in the relationship between the two.
Hartwell, a rising star in WWE, shared her sentiments on Instagram along with two photos, one from the past and a presumably recent one. This response comes after Punk’s return promo, where he acknowledged that his departure from WWE had left many fans feeling betrayed.

During a recent episode of Monday Night RAW, CM Punk delivered a segment in which he apologized to the WWE Universe for his departure in 2014. In his return promo, Punk mentioned that he disappointed many fans when he left WWE. Although he did not give any specific reason for his apology, he named a fan named ‘Indi’ who felt betrayed by his exit.
Indi Hartwell responded humorously to CM Punk’s apology on Instagram, stating that she had “accepted” the apology. A lifelong fan of The Second City Saint, Indi recreated an old photo of herself with him, sharing it on both Instagram and Twitter.
It seems CM Punk is still well-liked by his fellow wrestlers backstage in WWE, as he recently took photos with some of Indi’s former NXT locker room mates and has been spotted with a former AEW friend.
WWE announces CM Punk’s next appearance
WWE had an exciting show planned for their January 1st episode as they geared up for a night of unexpected events on Day 1 of Monday Night Raw. One thing that fans cannot expect is the return of CM Punk to WWE Raw. Although he was backstage this week at the venue, he will officially be back on the January 8th episode of Red Brand.

It was reported earlier that CM Punk was spotted backstage at the Day 1 Raw event, despite not being booked for the show. However, it could be because WWE needed him for another purpose. There is no information available yet on what Punk did during the January 8th episode of WWE Raw. However, he is scheduled to participate in the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match on January 27th.
