Renowned WWE female star Charlotte Flair may have sustained an injury during her bout against Asuka on last night’s “WWE SmackDown.” Backstage, fans who witnessed her struggling and requiring assistance are concerned that it might be a serious injury.
The devastating promo that CM Punk delivered on the episode of SmackDown that aired on December 8th took everyone by surprise. However, sadly, the 37-year-old former champion’s knee issue caused her to lose against Asuka, which was a disappointing outcome for her since she had a phenomenal night.
Charlotte Flair injury update
Charlotte Flair needed medical attention after injuring her knee during her battle with Asuka on WWE SmackDown. She made a clear display of favoring her right leg and yelled out information concerning her knee as the medical professionals responded to her.
The broadcast that aired on December 8 had Flair competing against Asuka, and during the commercial break, something went wrong. Asuka won with a roll-up because Damage CTRL’s Bayley distracted Queen during an important moment.
As time ran out, Flair hobbled around, and the match was abruptly cut short due to interference by Bayley. According to PWInsider, Flair suffered a knee injury while preparing for a move, making a mistake that resulted in her getting caught on the ropes. Asuka defeated Charlotte Flair with help from Bayley
For the first time since their August 11th No Contest battle, Asuka and Charlotte Flair squared off in a televised singles contest tonight on WWE SmackDown. Chelsea Green’s Twitter feud with Damage CTRL intensified their animosity before the fight.
Keeping up with the action from ringside, Charlotte and Asuka watched the bout develop. During the interval, Charlotte suffered a terrible fall that injured her neck, but her moonsault to the floor had the audience on the edge of their seats.
Regardless, she accomplished the Figure Eight, but as per their agreement backstage, Bayley stopped Asuka won the bout thanks to Bayley’s distraction, which left Charlotte furious. It should be noted that the goal of this bout was not to hurt Charlotte Flair.
