Georgina Rodriguez wins lawsuit
Georgina Rodriguez has recently emerged victorious in a substantial lawsuit, securing a significant monetary settlement. Georgina and her sister Ivana initiated legal proceedings against multiple TV shows, accusing them of infringing on their privacy and falsely attributing Georgina’s success to Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Court of First Instance No. 3 of Pozuelo de Alarcon in Spain validated the lawsuit, declaring the accused TV shows guilty of spreading misinformation and invading the privacy of the Rodriguez family. Georgina is entitled to €70,000, while her sister Ivana will receive the remaining €50,000, resulting in a total settlement of approximately €120,000.

The judge’s statement said, “At that time she was only starting to be known for her romantic relationship with the soccer player, and in no case she enjoyed the fame and public projection that she has at the moment.”
The judge also confirmed that Georgina’s hit show “I am Georgina” had no reference to her past life, so the media outlets had no permission to talk about her childhood. While the amount means little to Georgina, who is already quite wealthy, it sends a message to news outlets regarding using her name negatively.

The pair had met during Ronaldo’s days in Real Madrid. He was visiting a Gucci store in the city in 2016, where Georgina used to work as a sales assistant.
Ronaldo became smitten with her, and started dating each other, from which their current relationship has bloomed. Nowadays, they in Riyadh, where Ronaldo plays for Al Nassr.
The pair also share two children now, along with Ronaldo’s other 3 children. They are still going strong, and continue to be an inspiration for many around the world.
