With a win percentage of 81%, he was one of the world’s best managers. He was duly recognized and rewarded with the UEFA Manager of the Year award for his efforts to lead the Bavarian giants to glory in 2020. The loss to Japan on Saturday was Germany’s third in a row, with the German FA deciding to part ways with the former Hoffenheim manager.
Jurgen Klopp identified as the main man to replace Hansi Flick
With Hansi Flick gone, Germany will look to find a replacement for him as soon as possible, and Jurgen Klopp has been identified as the leading man to replace the former Bayern Munich manager. The problem with the idea is that it will take some convincing to tempt Klopp to leave his beloved role as the manager of the Liverpool side that is in the mix to win the Premier League this season.
Klopp has led Liverpool to three wins in four games this season, with his side sitting third on the table, behind leaders Manchester City and second-placed Tottenham Hotspur. Any deal to tempt Jurgen Klopp with the Germany job may have to wait until the end of the season.
