Giannis is currently the best basketball player in the NBA as per the NBA rankings last year. His applause would be very valuable for any fresher in the league and the Spurs rookie recently earned exactly that.
Giannis predicts Victor Wembanyama potential
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been the most dominant player in the NBA for some time now. He has been a nearly unstoppable force on the court once he gets going. The Bucks ace has established himself as one of the greatest in the league and is very adamant about winning. He was out of action for a long time because of a minor injury, but the Bucks didn’t want to take any risks with their ace, so they gave him plenty of rest.
On his comeback game, he was surprised by some guests that he did not expect, since then, he has been on fire, starting in most Bucks games and dominating. In the matchup against the Spurs, the Greek Freak faced Wemby for the first time and it looks like Wemby left quite an impression on Giannis. After the game, Giannis posted a photo captioned “Sky is the Limit” on his official X account.
In the photo, Giannis Antetokounmpo could be seen taking a shot with Victor Wembanyama in front of him. The photo does not directly compliment Wemby and is more of a cryptic message. But the general speculation going around is that the post is Giannis’ way of complimenting the rookie, as he did have an impressive block on the Bucks’ ace.

Victor Wembanyama’s block on Giannis Antetokounmpo with only thirty seconds left on the clock in his 29th career game has gained a lot of attention. Wemby’s entire game was very impressive, as he had 27 points, collected nine rebounds, and made a team-high five blocks. However, the block against Giannis was something special, it has gained a lot of attention, and many people have expressed positive opinions about the rookie.
The Bucks won the game with a final score of 125-121, however, Wembanyama has proven his potential despite being on the worst team in the Western Conference. He made a few clutch blocks in the game that could have tied the game at that point and in the game against the Phoenix Suns, he broke an NBA record despite losing the match.
