Giovanni Vinci shares update after injury scary during matchup vs Kofi Kingston on WWE RAW: “Sto bene. Grazie mille”

Giovanni Vinci currently performs under the RAW brand and is also a part of the Imperium faction along with Ludwig Kaiser, led by the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion, Gunther. He is known for his mic skills, which he uses to introduce The Ring General, Gunther, in the Italian language.

Recently, Vinci shared an update regarding his injury during a tag team match with Kofi Kingston and Jey Uso on the first RAW episode of 2024, Day 1.

How did Giovanni Vinci get injured?

On the Day 1 episode of Monday Night RAW, the members of Imperium, Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser, came to the ring to address the WWE fans. Kaiser was talking about a segment that took place at the WWE Live Holiday tour, where he was attacked by Steve Aoki, who made a surprise appearance to the live event and threw a cake on his face.

They both started attacking Kofi Kingston after Kingston interrupted their speech, and Jey Uso came for the rescue. In the later part of the match, Kingston tried to hit a superkick from the top of the rope, but Vinci got hit on the head, and he fell down immediately. Following this, Vinci was promptly escorted backstage by the WWE medical staff..

Vinci signed with WWE in 2020 as a part of the NXT roster. He dominated the NXT roster and joined the Smackdown roster in June 2022, where he joined with Imperium. He was drafted to RAW on October 2023 and the fans are disappointed to see Vinci to be injured in the first RAW episode of 2024.

Vinci received prompt medical attention from the WWE medic team following the injury. Later on that Vince posted a tweet in Italian with saying, “Sto bene. Grazie mille”. It refers to,” I’m Fine Thanks a Lot”. Vinci also added a folded hand emoji at last.

Vinci was rumored to leave the Imperium after, the leader Gunter said the following on a interview, “Especially us in Imperium, everybody in there wants to be the absolute elite and wants to be at the absolute top. Sometimes, when you fail to deliver that, there are consequences for that, and it’s on you to make up again for that situation”.

Fans believed that Vince was removed from the Imperium, but later WWE confirmed that it was a part of storyline to build a match between the members of the Imperium. This update from Vinci has made the fans happier and they expect Vinci in the RAW as the dominant member of the Imperium.
