“Guarantee it”: Hours after being asked to urinate, Conor McGregor makes bold Justin Gaethje claim

Conor McGregor, who has been absent from the octagon for over two years, has managed to stay in the MMA community’s spotlight by exchanging controversial Tweets with other UFC fighters or getting into other controversies. Recently, he made headlines by claiming that he would knock out Justin Gaethje.

In the highly anticipated UFC 291 bout, Gaethje impressed many with an exceptional performance against Dustin Poirier, successfully avenging his previous loss to the Diamond. The fight lived up to the hype for many and delivered an exciting showdown in the octagon.

Conor McGregor guarantees one hit KO

The showdown between two legendary lightweight fighters garnered significant attention in Salt Lake City. Gaethje, with a head kick, took revenge against Diamond in a remarkable manner in just the second round of their headliner bout.

However, McGregor wasn’t entirely impressed with the way Justin achieved his victory over Dustin. The Irishman took to Twitter to say how he’d win against ‘The Highlight’ by stating, “I KO him one shot. Guarantee it.”

“I’m the real BMF, he can fight for pennies if he wants but I want spirits, I call the shots, I’m in it to launch shots, f*** Chandler, you want it call for it.” Conor added.

In the lightweight division, Gaethje is considered one of the most captivating fighters, but he has never faced the Irish superstar. The Highlight alleges that Conor declined the opportunity to fight him on six different occasions.

Despite being known for taking on significant challenges, Justin maintains that he would still refuse to fight Conor, as there is a widely held belief that Conor may have used steroids.

“I’m not going to fight someone on steroids. I’ve never taken steroids in my life and never will. I’ve never taken steroids in my life and I don’t want to fight someone who is cheating. I probably shouldn’t even say that if I want the fight, but it’s the truth.” Gaethje said.

Chandler taunted the Notorious following UFC 291 rant

Amidst the ongoing drama between Gaethje and McGregor, former title contender Michael Chandler also joined in by mocking the former two-division champion and asking him to undergo drug testing by tweeting, “Just pee in the cup. It ain’t that complicated.”

There are uncertainties surrounding the highly-anticipated bout between Iron and Mystic Mac. Chandler remains hopeful and determined to face ‘The Notorious’ inside the octagon.

On his YouTube channel, the American fighter confidently expressed his readiness to take on McGregor, stating that he believes he would have the upper hand on the octagon.

Since McGregor’s devastating leg fracture against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, more than two years have passed. Conor had intended to make a comeback to the Octagon against Chandler but it’s now in jeopardy due to the Irish’s refusal to join the USADA pool.
