He shared that the ’emo’ look resonated with him which was quite a big leap from his previous choice of style, which was the dreads. While fans are eagerly waiting for his dominance on the court, they equally can’t wait to see him perform in his new style.

NBA fans have found themselves another target for their “meme culture” and this time, it’s Miami Heat’s superstar, Jimmy Butler, who has become the latest target for their online banter. Fans have been quick on Twitter or now X, to express their amusement, creating memes and edits of the superstar.

As soon as pictures of Butler’s revamped appearance started circling on social media, the internet exploded, showcasing their side of creativity. One of them even compared him to famous rapper, Lil Yachty, who went through a similar phase a few months ago.

Even his teammates did not backoff in pulling his leg. Bam Adebayo threw a casual jab at Butler’s lip ring, “The whole lip ring is annoying.” To which Jimmy Buckets was caught saying, “Look, I gotta stay in character.” His teammate further pointed out that he got a haircut for the media day only, and Butler affirmed saying it’s his Halloween.

While the NBA fans have found some sort of entertainment before the season begins, it’s safe to say that Jimmy will have a long season ahead. While he may be active on social media, a friendly reminder from his fans about his appearance would be an occurrence on a daily basis for a long time it seems.
