In a heartfelt message shared on his social media platforms, LeBron James expressed his admiration for Zach Wilson’s performance despite costing his team a painful loss which was the outcome of the game. He wrote, “Helluva game kid! You win as a team and you lose as well as a team! 1 play doesn’t define the whole game! Keep ya head up high and keep pushing forward!! If it was easy, everyone would do it!”
The message came after Zack Wilson’s fourth-quarter mistake that cost them their game against Kansas City Chiefs with a narrow 23-20 loss. Wilson was the one who made it a competitive battle against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs and hadn’t it been his mistake in the fourth quarter, their team would have walked away with all the victory. As for LeBron James, who reeks of professionality and experience, had a few words of advice, and that was to keep his head high.
As much as it was a painful defeat, LeBron pushed him to go forward, and assured him that one play doesn’t show the whole picture of his performance.
